I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites for this senior session at Baker Park because I love them all! The reason is simple, Kat is amazing. She is so much fun, and she wanted pictures with all her pets, so that was a lot of fun.
I believe Kat was blessed with an incredible support system. For our session, we had her mom and dad, both sisters, best friend, both her sugar gliders, and 2 of her dogs. Talk about an army of support! This is also the reason they’re one of my favorite families to work with, because they love each other and they are SO MUCH FUN!
I know we definitely laughed a lot, and when I would ask Kat to do something with posing she would just do it without any reservations. She is the most easy going and fun teenager, so you should all get to know her.
She’s in color guard at the high school, which is incredible, and she’s also acting in the school play. And, obviously, she really loves animals.
The last time I took pictures for the Smith family, Kat was just going into high school. So, this was quite a shock for me! She’s a lot older now! I thought about comparing the two side by side, but I don’t think a senior in high school would appreciate that as much as others, and so I won’t.
It was a pure joy and privilege to take Kat’s senior photos, and I hope you enjoy them. Here is Kat!
p.s. funny anecdote. Every time they called the dogs names for them to look at the camera, they wanted to run to the person talking. Which was super cute and hilarious every time.
p.p.s. also, I was standing in the middle of the road for some of these, so if she looks like she’s laughing, it’s probably because a car is coming.
