I took the Chapouris family photos at Baker Park on Wednesday evening. It was hot, but a little bit cloudy, so the weather wasn’t bad and the lighting was great.
The Chapouris family is one of my very favorite families of all time. I have known Megan for quite some time now, and she is definitely one of the strongest people I have ever met. I have seen her tackle obstacles and adversity with grace and strength, and I am happy to call her a friend.
When Megan met Anthony, we knew he was the one. He is sweet, caring, smart, and he loves those kids. I could not be happier that they found each other. If anyone deserves happiness, it’s Megan, so I’m glad she now has Anthony to share her happiness. Of course, you don’t need a man to be happy, but when you’re out in the world, crushing it like Megan, and you happen to stumble onto love, why say no?
Olivia and Taylor were a lot of fun. Their favorite part was definitely Carroll Creek. They tried to catch ducks and stand on rocks without getting wet. They both went home with wet feet.
We chose Baker Park in the end because Megan had never been there. What!? I love Baker Park. There is so much to do and see, and so much potential for great pictures! The problem, though, is that everyone loves Baker park, so finding spots without people and good lighting can be a challenge. I think we did alright though. I really wanted to get this gazebo in some shots, and miracle of miracles, there was no one behind it! That almost never happens.
Hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. Here is the Chapouris family!
