I wish I could put into words how much I love the Payne family and the Roddy Road Covered Bridge. I’ve known Carrie and her amazing family for almost 5 years now, and in that time, they have been unfailingly kind and selfless. Every time anyone needs ANYTHING, Carrie is the first person to jump in right away.
I really loved this covered bridge too. I had never been there before Carrie mentioned it, and it was gorgeous! Also, did you notice this amazing dog!? Honestly, Herbie stole the show at this photo shoot.
Herbie is the sweetest most lovable dog. He loves to snuggle, but only when it’s his idea, and he loves his family. Oh Herbie. You are so loved.
Cole and Skylar are both amazing young men. They’ve actually babysat for me before, and my kids adore them. They’re hard workers, believers in Christ, and so super sweet. Carrie and Skip did a wonderful job raising their boys into exceptional (almost) adults.
My favorite part of this session, though, was watching them all be silly together. They were laughing and joking the entire time, and I feel like you can really feel that joy through the photos. Skip and Carrie are clearly crazy about each other, and I loved being able to capture that for them.
