Baker Park Senior Pictures- Will

I had so much fun at this Baker Park senior session with Will and his mom. Will was able to have a virtual graduation ceremony, but they weren’t able to do the big celebration and all the senior pictures you would usually do. Knowing this, I’m so glad I was able to help them capture this moment in his life.

What’s Next?

Will is going to college in North Carolina. He plans on majoring in International Business. I won’t pretend to know exactly what that means, but I think it means he will make a lot of money someday. He’s pretty fluent in Spanish and he took college level classes in high school, so he’s well on his way to being a millionaire already. Right, Will?

If you look closely at the pins he’s wearing and the sashes, you’ll see that Will was an honor roll student and that he got a special commendation for taking a lot of college level classes. Pretty awesome!

Swimming

During his high school career, Will was on the swim team. I was also on the swim team in middle and high school, so it was a lot of fun to talk to him about that. His stroke was freestyle, and so was mine, but he said he could do them all pretty well. If you know anything about swimming, then you know that means he was on a lot of relays. If you can do all the strokes pretty well, they will always make you do butterfly. How do I know this? Because that was me in high school as well. Freestyle was my stroke, but I could do butterfly pretty well, so they put me on all the relays. If you’re not a swimmer, just know that butterfly is super hard and Michael Phelps makes it look easy.

What Happened?

When you look at these cute pictures of Will, you’ll notice he’s wearing a cast. Apparently on the first day out of quarantine he broke his ankle. Ouch! Isn’t that just the cherry on top of what 2020 has been so far? Hopefully it all goes up from here.

Thank you so much for letting me take your pictures, Will. I know it wasn’t your favorite thing, but we still had so much fun, and I appreciate that. I’m sorry your senior year was kind of a let down, but I hope your college experience and the rest of your life are completely amazing. I can’t wait to tell people in years to come when you’re rich and famous, that I took your senior photos. Good luck with everything!
